Kites Banned in Pakistan After Boy’s Slashing Death
The death of a 4-year-old boy whose throat was slit by a low-flying kite string coated with glass has prompted authorities to forbid kite-flying in eastern Pakistan. The boy became the seventh kite-string victim in the past two weeks, prompting the provincial government to announce the ban.
Ummm…first kids getting killed by kites…not funny, not cool. Now letting your kid ride on the back of a motorcycle and having a kite string slit his throat…maybe the kid shouldn’t have been on the motorcycle. That being said over 18 people were killed and 200 more injured by kites in 2000. I’m thinking that people in Pakistan need a new hobby! Welcome to CrzyLand
