TiVo now has enforced a patent that may open up huge revenue streams for the company.The company has emerged victorious in their patent lawsuit against EchoStar. The jury in the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Texas has awarded TiVo US $73 million in damages.

Yes this is a good thing for those of you with a TiVo…in case you’ve missed the back story you can follow this link. Basically TiVo is going to probally start using this win to scare others into paying up, or complying…Also of intrest DirecTV signed another deal with TiVo allowing for 2 more years of tech support by DirecTV for the TiVo boxes….Welcome to CrzyLand
