Invention Would Stop People From Changing Channels Until Advertising Over
If a new idea from Philips catches on, the company may not be very popular with TV viewers. Philips suggests adding flags to commercial breaks to stop a viewer from changing channels until the adverts are over.
Of course the real meat of this article is the idea of CHARGING viewers for the ability to fast-forward/change channels during commercials…allowing the advertisers to get their money out of the increasing DVR market…anyone who owns a DVR can tell you being able to fast forward through commercials is the 2nd best principle of the device….Welcome to CrzyLand
