Eliminate Training Wheels With the GyroBike
The company, a spin-off out of Dartmouth College, is coming out later this year or early next year with a gyroscope/flywheel that fits into the front wheel of a kid’s bike. When a child begins to go off-balance and fall over, the gyroscope corrects the path of the bike and props it back up.
This is brilliant…I wasn’t one of the lucky children to get trainning wheels…but once I finally learned how to ride a bike, any time I would try and ride a bike with training wheels I would become VERY frustrated…you couldn’t ride them like a normal bike…you couldn’t lean the bike and cut a hard turn…and you couldn’t go too fast since quick manuvers were limited to no flipping the bike over the front wheel turning more then 45degrees…no trainning wheels seemed like a god-send when you couldn’t ride and a pain when you finally got it…however with this new GyroBike children will learn the ‘feel’ of balance instead of ridding an over-priced trike-like bike…Welcome to CrzyLand
