Tom McHale is a hero at the MBTA, not for saving lives, but for saving a lot of money thanks to steak tips, electrical tape, and a 5-cent, fine-mesh hair cap.

Always good to see someone using their ‘thinking cap’…but seriously you have to love a fell good story like this…guy sees a hair-net and decides, hmm that might be a good air filter for these crappy train engines that keep sucking up snow…and of course it works great, and now is part of their ISO procedures to install hair-nets and to hold them in place with electrical tape…Welcome to CrzyLand
