RIAA: You Can Now Listen To Your CDs On Your iPod
From the how-kind-of-them dept: The recording industry has magnanimously decided to ask the government to change copyright laws, to allow people to rip their own CDs, so they can be listened to on other devices. Of course, it’s ridiculous enough that the industry has to give its approval to such a move.
Well imagine that…first the RIAA tells us we can’t…and now they’re thinking, can we REALLY go after the President for having those Beatles songs on his iPod if he owned the CD and simply transfered them over (since the Beatles are NOT on ANY download service he had to copy them from CD)…or do we just ‘fix’ this little problem…well who cares, I’m just one step close to legal…Welcome to Crzyland
