SIRA the Worst Bill You’ve Never Heard About

Basically what is going on here is simple. Congress is considering a new the Section 115 Reform Act of 2006…aka SIRA. SIRA is designed to do one thing, and one thing only. Stop you from using music in a digital format. To accomplish the simple task of playing, downloading, or transfering digital music one must create ghost copies. These copies are known as incidental copies in the business, and are taken as non-illegal copies, and not needing license. This is where SIRA steps in and changes things around. If this were to pass, all incidental or ghost copies would require a seperate license making it virtually too expensive to continue using a digtal format for your music legally. This could spell the end of MP3’s if allowed to pass. Welcome to CrzyLand
